    A Day in the Life of an Administrative Coordinator (Network Development):


    The Administrative Coordinator will be to assist the Network Development Department in completing various duties and tasks.



    • Maintaining department schedules, including but not limited to: Director’s schedule, monthly PNDR meeting, weekly PNDR conference call, recurring conference calls with other Meridian departments, quarterly MMJOC and ARRG, ND Care Partner/JOC meetings, ad-hoc WebEx meetings as needed
    • Coordinate travel and expense reporting for Director and other leadership as needed
    • Create and submit Charitable Activities Committee requests
    • Coordinate meetings with outside visitors
    • Review and submit check request forms to Director for approval
    • Coordinate signature of all contracts and MIHP Care Coordination Agreements
    • Coordinate all materials for monthly PNDR meetings, including timely receipt of HEDIS reports
    • Maintain Provider Contracts Inbox including coordination with Corporate Provider Services and Network Development staff
    • Receive and distribute all department mail, verify returned mail
    • Coordinate gift card approval and receipt
    • Maintain supplies and “swag” including taking inventory, cleaning storage room, replacing provider education handouts when necessary, order “swag” promotional supplies as needed
    • Complete and maintain the Prospective Provider packets
    • Coordinate mailing of Prospective Provider packets as directed
    • Disseminating, monitoring accuracy and completeness of credentialing applications prior to scanning to Corporate Provider Services
    • Coordinate special mailing projects related to provider education as needed
    • Perform other duties as assigned





    What you can bring to Meridian:

    • High school diploma is required
    • Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree or Fellow designation from the Academy for Healthcare Management (AHM) is preferred
    • Managed care or provider services experience is preferred
    • Knowledge of MHP’s philosophy and organizational structure
    • Understanding of MHP’s Prospective Provider packet inclusion
    • Basic knowledge of managed care
